The Carlisle Borough Compost Facility
will be open on the following dates and times:
March 1 - October 16
Tuesdays and Thursdays
7:30am - 3:30pm
Wednesdays
3:00pm - 8:00pm
Saturdays
8:00am - 12:00 Noon
October 23 - December 18
Saturdays Only
8:00am - 12:00 Noon
Operational
hours can be effected due to equipment problems or manpower shortages, as
well as due to the occurrence of storms or other natural causes.
Rules for
Facility Use
Carlisle
Borough and North Middleton Township residents (I.D. required) are
permitted to use this facility to dispose of leaf and/or brush waste which
is generated from borough/township properties. Other yard waste such
as grass, tree stumps and tree waste that is larger than 24" in diameter
is strictly prohibited.
Please note:
Contractors (i.e. building, landscaping, etc.) are NOT permitted to use
the compost facility. |
